The ultra capacitor module is a new energy storage device composed of single cell supercapacitors connected in series, combined with a voltage equalization and discharge voltage stabilizing system, and an aluminum alloy casing.

• Supercapacitor modules are green energy (activated carbon) and do not pollute the environment;

• Supercapacitor modules have a long life (100,000 recharges); lead-acid batteries have a short life (500 recharges);

• Supercapacitor modules charge quickly (0.3 seconds-15 minutes); lead-acid batteries take a long time to charge (5-8 hours);

• Supercapacitor modules have high charging and discharging efficiency (98%); lead-acid batteries have low charging and discharging efficiency (70%);

• The power density of supercapacitor modules is high (10.000W/kg); the power density of lead-acid batteries is low (300W/kg), a difference of more than 30 times.

• The supercapacitor module is completely maintenance-free and has an operating temperature range (-40~60°C); the driving range of lead-acid battery electric vehicles is reduced by 90% at -40°C, while that of supercapacitors is only reduced by 10%.

• Supercapacitor modules have strong energy recovery in electric buses, and emergency braking energy recovery is as high as 75%; lead-acid battery energy recovery is only 5%, which is very important for public buses and can save a lot of fuel.

• The relative cost of supercapacitor modules is low. The price of supercapacitors is twice as high as that of lead-acid batteries, and the price will drop after mass production; but the lifespan of supercapacitors is 10 times longer than that of lead-acid batteries, which is very important for the industrialization of public buses.
